{"id":8986,"date":"2016-05-27T10:30:35","date_gmt":"2016-05-27T09:30:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.biobasedpress.eu\/nl\/?p=8986"},"modified":"2016-05-27T10:52:52","modified_gmt":"2016-05-27T09:52:52","slug":"synbra-and-biobtx-winnen-bio-based-innovatieprijzen-2016","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.biobasedpress.eu\/nl\/2016\/05\/synbra-and-biobtx-winnen-bio-based-innovatieprijzen-2016\/","title":{"rendered":"Synbra and BioBTX winnen bio-based innovatieprijzen 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Op de bio-based conferenties in Amsterdam, georganiseerd door Bio-Based <a href=\"http:\/\/www.biobasedworldnews.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">World News<\/a> deze week, wonnen Synbra en BioBTX innovatieprijzen.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/www.biobasedpress.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/BioFoam.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-8984\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-8984\" src=\"https:\/\/www.biobasedpress.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/BioFoam.jpg\" alt=\"Bio-based BioFoam\" width=\"265\" height=\"232\" \/><\/a>Bio-based prijzen<\/h2>\n<p>De winnaar van de prijs voor bio-based product van het jaar (Europa) 2016 was \u2018Greeny\u2019, een nieuwe serie ijsverpakkingen gemaakt uit BioFoam\u00ae door <a href=\"http:\/\/www.synbratechnology.com\/biofoam\/\" target=\"_blank\">Synbra<\/a> en kort geleden gelanceerd in Itali\u00eb. Synbra is een van de bedrijven die PLA ontwikkelt voor vele toepassingen. Hun topproduct is BioFoam, een materiaal dat lijkt op EPS (piepschuim) en dit voor de meeste toepassingen kan vervangen. Met dit verschil natuurlijk dat EPS gemaakt wordt uit fossiele grondstoffen, en BioFoam uit suiker (-riet of \u2013biet). Daarom heeft dit een veel lagere CO2 footprint. BioFoam wordt al veel toegepast: in de vorm van bakjes (trays), ijsverpakking, transportdozen en isolatiemateriaal. Peter Matthijssen, commercieel manager bij Synbra Technology zei: \u2018We waren erg blij met de erkenning van ons product door de jury en het winnen van deze prijs, wat alle mensen die eraan hebben gewerkt zal bemoedigen. We denken dat dit zal bijdragen aan het succes van BioFoam\u00ae in de markt en hopen dat er nog vele producten zullen volgen, in de komende jaren.\u2019<br \/>\nTweede werd Bioserie met hun bio-based babyspeelgoed. Lumir\u2019s akoestische coating op basis van biovezels ter vermindering van weerkaatsing binnenshuis ontving het predicaat \u2018zeer goed\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>De prijs voor de bio-based chemische innovatie van het jaar (Europa) 2016 was voor <a href=\"http:\/\/www.knnadvies.nl\/pages\/biobtx\/\" target=\"_blank\">BioBTX<\/a> voor hun tereftaalzuur uit ruwe glycerine; hierdoor kunnen afvalstromen met hoog rendement worden omgezet in waardevolle producten. Dr. Niels Schenk, Chief Technology Officer bij BioBTX [link] zei: \u2018BioBTX heeft technologie ontwikkeld waarmee wij ruwe glycerine, bijproduct van het maken van biodiesel, kunnen omvormen tot belangrijke chemische bouwstenen als paraxyleen. Met deze bouwstenen kunnen hoogwaardige materialen gemaakt worden uit biomassa. We zijn trots op deze prijs! In juni maken we een belangrijke ontwikkeling bekend, dus volg ons op twitter (<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BioBTX\" target=\"_blank\">@BioBTX<\/a>) of linkedin!\u2019<br \/>\nTweede werd de Ohio Soybean Council met hun \u2018Soy-PK Reactive Oligomer Cross-Linker\u2019 hars. En de nieuwe bio-based crosslinker Desmodur\u00ae eco N 7300 van Covestro kreeg het predicaat \u2018zeer goed\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>De prijzen werden uitgereikt aan de winnaars aan het eind van de tweede dag van de Bio-Based Chemicals en Bio-Based Products conferentie in Amsterdam.
