In Denemarken en Itali\u00eb hebben Novozymes, de grootste producent van industri\u00eble enzymen ter wereld, en Beta Renewables, een van \u2019s werelds grootste producenten van biobrandstoffen en deel van de Gruppo Mossi & Ghisolfi, een overeenkomst gesloten om samen biobrandstoffen uit cellulose te marketen, demonstreren en garanderen. Als deel van deze overeenkomst zal Novozymes 10% van Beta Renewables verwerven, tegen een bedrag van $ 155 miljoen voor aandelen, marketing fees, andere IP-rechten en milestone payments.<\/strong><\/p>\n

De aankondiging werd gedaan aan het begin van de driedaagse Advanced Biofuels Markets conferentie van de biobrandstoffenindustrie in San Francisco, gewijd aan strategische samenwerking. De CEO van Beta Renewables, Guido Ghisolfi, heeft de conferentie toegesproken, en de nieuwe partners hebben een persconferentie gegeven.
\nBeta Renewables zal de enzymen van Novozymes gebruiken in zijn PROESA-technologie, en zal de productiekosten van biobrandstoffen garanderen bij de start van de celluloseverwerking bij hun klanten. Deze deal is uniek omdat hij een overkoepelende oplossing biedt, die tegen concurrerende kosten het projectrisico van de klant beperkt.<\/p>\n
