China wil, volgens zijn 11e vijfjarenplan, een industrie opzetten voor ontwikkeling van een nieuwe generatie biomedische materialen en hun toepassingen. China heeft een verouderende bevolking en wil deze markt zelf beter gaan bedienen. Het doel is om een topspeler te worden in deze industrietak, aldus een rapport van Lux Research getiteld China’s Expanding Biomedical Materials Industry: Where Societal Need and Market Growth Collide<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

De Chinese markt voor medische apparaten en materialen heeft de afgelopen tien jaar een jaarlijkse groei van 20 tot 27% doorgemaakt, veel hoger dan de wereldgroei van 10% per jaar \u2013 maar binnenlandse producten hebben een marktaandeel van slechts 3%. China wil nu een ecosysteem scheppen dat met zijn innovaties een snelle groei van slimme technologie\u00ebn en materialen voor biomedische toepassingen teweeg kan brengen.<\/p>\n

\u2018De doelstellingen zijn geformuleerd, en veel ontwikkelaars melden zich op technologische gebieden als weefselbehandeling en precisietoediening van medicijnen. Daarmee kunnen de overheidsdoelstellingen van zowel welzijnsverbetering van een groeiende en ouder wordende bevolking, als voortgaande economische groei, worden verwezenlijkt,\u2019 zegt Zhun Ma, onderzoeker bij Lux Research en eindredacteur van het rapport.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
