SUMMARY:8th Conference on Carbon Dioxide as Feedstock for Fuels\, Chemistry and Polymers
DESCRIPTION:Online conference only\nAviation fuels\, CO2-based fuels and chemicals\, PtX and CCU – need conferences and meeting places for exchange – especially in times of the corona virus. \nUnfortunately\, we too will not be able to hold our major conferences next week due to general event bans in Germany:\n– 1st European Summit on CO2-based Aviation Fuels\n23 March 2020\, Cologne (in cooperation with IASA)\n– 8th Conference on Carbon Dioxide as Feedstock for Fuels\, Chemistry and Polymers\n24-25 March 2020\, Cologne \nInstead\, we are offering a big online conference with 50 leading experts and extensive interaction possibilities!\nUnlike many others\, we will not cancel the conference\, but offer it as an online conference via ZOOM for up to 500 participants. We will do everything in our power to generate the maximum benefit for everyone. \nWe will try to get all speakers – more than 50 (!) –online on board as planned. Speakers will be contacted by our nova team shortly. Due to different time zones and other problems\, there might be some shifts in the programme. For example\, we will now integrate the parallel session and the evening lectures in the main programme. The latest programme can always be found at: www.co2-chemistry.eu/programme \nThe presentations for the innovation award are also expected to take place as planned. The winners will then be chosen by the online participants. As always\, the winners will be announced worldwide the following day. \nAs is customary at our conferences\, all presentations can be commented on and questions can be asked online. After each session\, these questions will be discussed in a panel discussion with the session speakers. If presentations are cancelled\, we will extend the panel discussion accordingly. \nComprehensive information on sponsors\, exhibitors and background texts can be found in the conference journal\, which is available online: www.co2-chemistry.eu \nImportant: All 140 participants who have already registered will automatically receive a link for online participation.
