DESCRIPTION:On November 27 and 28 2019 Shared Research Center Biorizon will host its 6th Biorizon Annual Event on Bio-aromatics in Antwerp. \nLarge industry players\, Small and Medium sized Enterprises (SME’s) and Research and Technology Organisations (RTO’s) from all over the world will be present to discuss the latest progress in the field of bio-aromatics and to elaborate on the opportunities to accelerate biobased business together. \n\nOn Thursday\, 28 November 2019 Biorizon will be hosting this event. This event is sponsored by Biopen & Vanguard.\nThe night prior to the event (Wednesday\, 27 November 2019)\, Biorizon invites you to a complementary networking dinner.\nHotel room reservations have been arranged (limited availability & at your own expense).\n\nBiorizon: The profitable way to biobased aromatics\nAromatics are among the most important resources for the chemical industry. Currently virtually all aromatic building blocks are made from fossil oil. \nShared Research Center Biorizon\, an initiative of TNO\, VITO and ECN part of TNO\, develops technologies to produce bio-aromatics derived from plant-based waste streams. This diminishes the dependence on fossil fuel\, it lowers CO2-emissions and it provides the chemical industry a profitable and sustainable perspective. \nWe create renewable aromatics that outperform their fossil counterparts\, in sustainability as well as functionality. Biorizon includes global leaders in the fields of feedstock\, conversion\, equipment and end-products as participants\, as well as Small and Medium sized Enterprises (SME’s). We aim to make commercial production of bio-aromatics feasible for industrial partners by 2025.
