SUMMARY:13th International Conference on Bio-based Materials (online only)
DESCRIPTION:The “13th International Conference on Bio-based Materials” will be held ONLINE this year on 12-13 May 2020 \nDue to the Corona crisis\, this year’s conference will unfortunately not be able to take place in the usual and appreciated form. Our conference has established itself as one of the most important expert meetings in Europe on the topic of bio-based building blocks and polymers. It is not an option for us to cancel the conference or postpone it until autumn. Especially in times of crisis\, our sector needs exchange. \nThat is why we have decided to host the conference online this year. We have just had very good experiences with the online version of our “Conference on Carbon Dioxide as Feedstock for Fuels\, Chemistry and Polymers”: On three days 50 speakers gave their presentations online and the 170 participants asked almost 200 questions\, of which all could be discussed. The reactions of the participants and speakers were extremely positive and everyone was delighted that we offered this form of exchange. \nThis experience encourages us to make “13th International Conference on Bio-based Materials” an equally successful online event. \nThe always highly anticipated innovation award “Bio-based Material of the Year” will as always be elected by the participants on the first day of the conference. Six promising candidates out of 17 applications have already been nominated by the advisory board. \nIn the week of 14 April we will present the new online programme\, the ticket for the two day event will be available for just 395 €. www.bio-based-conference.com. \nBe there and don’t miss this unique and high-profile exchange in May!
